We opened the door to the pumphouse this morning to a surprise!
The mouse had taken the cheese!
But he wasn’t captured. On top of that, he left crumbs upon the paper.
Because he was so clever not to fall, we decided to make it more difficult for him to stand upon the paper and eat the cheese. We increased the slits twofold and widened them, as well.
And baited more cheese for tonight!
