I remember!
Part of the fun was just rehabilitating the birds on our own--of course, I can't advise anyone to do that now, can I? ;)

I keep hoping we'll have a case to point out against! But no stunned birds in sight yet...

Steph,
do you remember when you where in grade school and I was in the glass sided building on Edloe? Well, each morning when I got to work I would walk the perimeter of the building and find several birds on the ground. About half the time they were dead, but the other half were just stunned. I would take them into my office in a box until they were alert and then release them. One time one got out of the box and flew into my boss' office. What a hoot! We chased that bird (a cedar waxwing all around that office. I was called the "bird man of Exxon" after that. There were numerous species that I would find, but a lot of warblers and cedar waxwings (they would get drunk on the ligustrum berries and you could literally climb the tree and catch them on the limbs!)
