we made similar mats from palm leaves in Panama a couple of years back and i just noticed one of them, the other evening while tucking boys in, dried out but still used in play upstairs in one of their rooms...i think they are interchangeably is used for rugs, rafts, roofs, and i'm sure much more, in their ongoing Playmobil world up there.</description>
